Project Overview:
For this semester-long project, we focused on creating an innovative sustainable dining experience that built upon the slow food movement with the goal of the experience to nourish the mind and body through food and education to create both environmental and social change. The project aims to explore how the purpose, programmatic development, and design of a dining experience can bridge the gap between urban communities that value the slow food movement with communities that struggle with food insecurity, proper nutrition, and the epidemic of food deserts.

Reflection:
This semester-long project was one of my favorites and it definitely challenged me to step out of my comfort zone. There was so much research and information that went behind it and influence dozens of choices. I contributed to this project through the creation of the mission and brand, personas and user journeys, digital touchpoints, and various photoshopped images. This project challenged me to think of user experience in a physical space rather than digital, and it allowed me to think of how graphic design and a mobile app can be used to complement a space.
